We have all of our paint. Well, almost. We finally decided to paint the third bedroom white, and then we forgot to buy white paint. However, we did buy ceiling paint and wall paint for the two other bedrooms and the living room, all of which is low-VOC paint from Behr. The kitchen paint, meanwhile, is from Dutch Boy and is no-VOC!
Alas, Dutch Boy has discontinued its no-VOC line, so we could only get one gallon (we had planned to get a Dutch Boy color for the living room as well). They’re supposed to bring out a new no-VOC line soon, but it won’t be soon enough for us.
However, we’ll make do with the low-VOC paint. This will help us reduce the gasses that are emitted by regular paint–the ones that make people light-headed while painting.
One of my friends is coming over tomorrow to help us paint, which should be fun. It should be a good and productive day!
